Supplemental essay strategy

Use the "Why Cornell" and college-specific essays to show precise fit: name professors, labs, courses, clubs, or facilities at the Ithaca campus and explain how they connect to a concrete plan or past experience. If applying to a particular college, cite curriculum features or hands-on opportunities unique to that college (e.g., ILR bargaining clinics, CALS field stations, Hotel School real-world operations, Engineering labs), and avoid generic praise of "Ivy resources."
